Ani Goulayan, renowned makeup artist and founder of Vanity Makeup and Vanity Makeup School, began her journey in 2009—before social media glamorized the craft. Rooted in passion and precision, her artistry grew through dedication and word-of-mouth, transforming a love for beauty into a lifelong mission of empowerment.

In 2014, Ani hosted her first sold-out small-group classes, offering intimate, hands-on makeup training. Just two years later, her 150-student masterclass confirmed her influence as both artist and mentor, inspiring aspiring professionals to pursue their craft with confidence and purpose.

Building a Global Academy

In 2016, Ani launched Vanity Makeup School, setting a new standard in professional makeup education. Based in Los Angeles, her academy quickly became a global destination for students across the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, and Asia—each eager to master her signature techniques and transformative approach.
